Re: How do you cope as a mental health carer and what supports and services would you recommend to other carers?
I like to use all methods available, counsellors especially I need to talk to other living breathing human beings! Those that understand, those that have lived through similar and those that are going through rough times and can relate and empathise. When I can't find them I scour second hands shops for fabrics pull them apart and make them into something beautiful, if the project fails I don't feel guilty or that I've wasted my time or money at least I tried. I live south of Perth WA and would like to meet up with other carers and or patients, because while I appreciate the online help a friendly face and a good laugh cures all.
