Thanks @Owlunar. I'm also Victorian.  My gp put in the paperwork for a taxi card ages ago but I got stuck following it through,  my fault. Today MyAgedCare said they'd put through the referral for transport but recommended St John Community Transport for medical appts. You don't need a referral for them. There's a fee but probably less than taxis  and they can wait with you.

Thanks for telling me about St John Community Transport - I will follow that up. It would be great to have someone pick me up and wait - and to see my specialist in Frankston costs a lot in taxi fares even at half price

I hope you can get a card - there are times when it's easier than organising someone - there are times when taxis are hard to get too.

I'm so sorry to read that you were having a bad day yesterday. Things have been tough, hey. And fair enough, you have a lot on your plate. How are things today? It was so hot last week here but these last two days have been much cooler. I have no energy when it's that hot so can understand what you meant about the heat.

I hope things are a bit better for you today. I hope you could do something nice for yourself yesterday arvo.

been awake since 4am this morning , mr shaz was wide awake and made us a cup of coffee and sat out on the patio watching our little town waking up 

the day after mr shaz has a bad day , he is totally exhausted --- he says his brain is soo hurting today 

soo it is good that we have the afternoon off today and it is raining sooo much but he is now doing things around the house 

@Dimity how did you go with your appointment ?

For my phone appointment -- I have to wait for centrelink now to let me know the outcome 

according to the sonic doctor i could swing either way ( a yes--- in some areas  or a no --- that i am not bad enough !!!)

soo my head is aching now , waiting for the outcome 

I could be doing something but at the moment i dont want to do anything soo maybe another cuppa might hit the spot
