Hi yer Nik
I just wanted to tell you that i am so very impressed at your consistent caring knowledgable support for @hiddenite .
You have been with her all the way. And I think hiddenite was very fortunate you were here fromthe first post. You are so gentle in your care and support it is humbling to me. I want to thank you for being such an integral part of this forum. We are very blessed to have you here with us.
It is because of folk like you that
Hope endures

Dear @hiddenite
I find your choice of forum name inspiring and filled with hope. Thanks so much for sharing all that with us. I also look forward to learning more, as I know nothing about crystals. I want to second what Nik said about the amazing progress you have made, I know it probably doesn't feel like it in the throes of flashbacks and triggering, but I see this too. I think Rick mentioned the strength within survivors, and you have that my friend - even though you feel weak.
I am still struggling a lot with my own messy stuff at the moment but I wanted to let you know I have been trying to follow your "thread" and you are in my thoughts & prayers. I find being in the bush helpful and a solace too.
I have contacted WIRE before, if you haven't already looked them up I thought you might find it helpful that they have a live online chat option which is available 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. I hope this helps make it more accessible for you.
Finally I want to share something with you that has helped me many times when I have been afraid and overwhelmed by my circumstances (I have a banner on my door which says this).
Courage: Not the absence of fear or despair, but the determination to persist in the face of them.
I see great courage in you. Keep going please, you are getting there - it might feel excruciatingly slow (and I'm appalled the CATT team think it's ok to say they'll get back to you in a week) but you are.
Hope, for helpful help, endures my friend. Please take care of you.
Kindest regards,
Kristin

Hi Kristen
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your support and time. I understand that everyone here has a story to tell and their own battles that they are fighting.
That's what makes it so special that people who are suffering are still prepared to offer help and support to complete strangers.
I'm sorry I cannot thank everyone individually but to Nic, Sandy, Jazzie,Peace, Seuss, Cherry Bomb, Baboo, im sure there are others I am listening and very grateful for your unconditional support without judgment.
You are all so kind...I wish I had someone in my real life like you guys.
Wishing you all the very best..
Take care

Hi @hiddenite
Are you online tonight? Wondering how you are? Don't feel like you need to respond straight away - only if you're up to it. We can always speak another time.

Nice to see on here again. My day was ok, thanks for asking. How about yours? What did you get up to?
I hear that you and @NikNik were talking about stones last night? I also find this interesting. I have few around my house. I sleep with by the bed, but I'm not sure what they really do. Can I ask what does Hiddenite looks like?

Hey cb
Just another day went bush isolated in the car. Bit hot paying for it now bit dehydrated I think.
Had to get support from suicide line, kind of helped.
Hiddenite has a glassy transparency and is emerald in color.
I find crystals helpful to ground me, distract. Texture, color, hold, hard, smooth, cold, sometimes its just soothing to hold one.
I'm no expert my psychologists suggested using them to help ground me.
They are pretty too.

Sorry to hear that things sounded tough today, but glad you reached out and called sucide line. You're making a lot of progress.
I think stones are beautiful too, and agree that they there is something grounding about them. These are the few that I keep beside my bed.
Yeah, it was pretty hot in Melbourne today. It's going to be hot over the weekend. Are you going to spend more time in your car? It's so important to stay cool over the next few days. Perhaps you can go somewhere that'll be cool?
