Re: Taking the plunge

Rocket cat sounds so naughty @CheerBear, written with a knowing smile, and fearless. I remember the shredding from previous cats family members. At least my baby has not so shredding claws. Lol

Sounds like sib at home is struggling. Tough call for you, as help would be really necessary these days. I’m glad other sib is helping out with app this week. Anything, big or small these days I guess.

Sorting through cross stitch threads and fabric, that’s such a nice thing to do. You are very thoughtful, even in the middle of such hard times.

Sib was ok enough. I know it’s really hard for him, but it is what it is, there is nothing I can do to change that for him.

I have 7 brothers @CheerBear  6 older 1 younger. I’m only in contact with 1. Very tricky history. Everyone survives as best they can.

I love looking at crafty pics. Even if I never use the type of craft, there is so much individual talent out there.

Re: Taking the plunge

Oh wow @Maggie. 7 brothers. Far out. Did you ever wish for a sister? I'm sorry for your tricky history. Families can be so complicated and hard 🙁

I'm kind of in the same boat with my sib and there being little I can do to change that. I have to keep frustration in check. I find it hard to look after those here as it is and hard to feel like I am being taken for granted. Shouldn't say more.

Looking at craft is so nice feeling sometimes. The talent out there is amazing and the different ways people are doing things is inspiring. Well person is incredibly crafty and arty. I don't know how they did it without the internet to help - I'd be lost 😁

I'm going to sit quietly with some paint before the crew make the house not-quiet again. Always lovely to see you ❤ You also @outlander

Hope today has some OK about it. See you later 😊👋

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie @CheerBear  and @outlander   hope today is peaceful for you all xoxo

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @eth and thank you. I hope today has had some peaceful about it for you also.

@Maggie how has your day been? And yours @outlander, if you'd like to share?

Today hasn't been the best day here. I've felt a bit irritated throughout today. I think it's the whole situation being stuck at home like this with no way to get out of it. I'm feeling concerned about how I will manage the week ahead and tired thinking of it already. Frustration with sibling hasn't helped me today either. But I did another two stones today (am trying to upload a pic but my images aren't working. So annoying Smiley Frustrated - I *think* I got it)

I then ordered two molds @Maggie Smiley Very Happy ! I am now looking at what to actually make the stones with. What do you use?

I have two more river stone thingies to play with and was going to sit down and do them tonight, but should work on my job application instead. I'm thinking I will save them now untili that is done kind of as a reward Smiley Happy

I hope the day has been OKish or OK enough.

Lotsa Heart

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @CheerBear  hope the job application comes together smoothly and that you get some rest after that.  Curious about what sort of work you're applying for.

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @eth. I won't get it all done tonight but I should make some progress hopefully, then rest. It's the same job application I was working on recently but stuff happened that stopped it from happening (not on my end). It's a position where I do my volunteer gig.

Re: Taking the plunge

hey @CheerBear @Maggie
sorry I posted and ran, have had an awful night. I didn't get back to sleep so still running on 2 hours but have been in a lot of pain which is what kept me up all night as well.

I managed to get an assignment completed and submitted today though and sorted a few of my orders that I had come through sorted out for pickup (throughout today) and tomorrow.

how have your days been?

hey @eth @Appleblossom and everyone passing through

Re: Taking the plunge

Hey @outlander

Smiley Happy

@Maggiewhat a challenge 7 brothers ... there was a silly movie about 7 bros getting 7 brides or something ??

The reality of big families would be complicated.

I have been working outside doing paving job. Think I will wear gloves tmrw.

Re: Taking the plunge

I can’t see your pic @CheerBear , but my iPad has been a bit strange this afternoon, so it might be that.

Sorry sib is not supportive atm @CheerBear , you have really put yourself out there. I hope that changes, you need support right now, life is tough enough without extra.

I use Ultracal 30. For rock making. It’s the toughest apparently I got mine from Barnes. I have a copy of measurement I can post through for different size moulds also. It has to be accurate.

I’m pleased you have ordered moulds. I also hope your job application is going ok. 🤞🤞

Bro rang me this morning at 8.30. It’s tough for him. He was very happy with quite a bit of help. We all get through the best way we can.

To answer your question this morning, yes, I would have loved a sister, and I possibly would have preferred 6 less brothers. Lol. I wasn’t given the choice.

My day has passed like yesterday, but I’ll work myself out of my cave eventually.

Re: Taking the plunge

@eth , I hope your day has passed peaceful. Sending some 💙💙💙 back to you.
