hello @Owlunar
Interesting choice ha ha..
seriously yes has huge impact at times
have not been able to keep up which frustrates me...have to know my boundaries at the same time...so cannot win at both at the moment..
yes if I could go back in time there would definitely be a few choices that I would never make again...
then again if I was back in that same time I would make the same choice....hence the problem with time travel and change ...
I would certainly choose to listen to my own voice and trust my intuition...in fact in earlier days...find my intuition...recognise what it is...
This leads me to the fact that in my case I have been diagnosed by two separate psychotherapists whom I have seen long term as being depressed from a very young age...
Depression does not allow choices sadly...
I do make choices in my life now though....
It is never too late to start making choices either...
An excellent subject again Dec...
ps if replying would love to be tagged so that I remember to read this thread....

Hi @Owlunar @Shaz51 @Sans911 @utopia @Jumpingcactus
hope everyone’s having a great week. This weeks been a bit tough, body’s a bit run down and stressed and I’ve been sick. Feeling better as the week goes on. Still can’t get on top of the anxiety and now panic attacks, but I’ve been trying the ideas my councillor gave me. They work if I’m on my own but it’s a bit tougher in public spaces.
hope everyone enjoys the weekend and can enjoy the sunshine ❤️❤️

@Razzle. I found the more I practice those techniques to help control my anxiety and panic attacks (in private) - the easier it got for me to do them in public.
I might look a bit strange doing exaggerated breathing in a packed train carriage, but it's better than having a full blown panic attack.
So stick with it. It will get easier.

@utopia You’re right, the more I practice the better it gets. The panic attacks only last a few minutes, they’re just getting more frequent which is a worry. I have this weekend at home so that makes me feel better. It doesn’t matter if a panic attack hits and I burst into tears out here (I live on a farm), I can concentrate on myself and not everything going on around me.

@Shaz51 Haven’t checked in for couple days, how’s everything? You know you’ve created connections when you feel guilty for not logging on and seeing how everyone is going and feel bad.

@Razzle Sorry to hear your feeling run down and the anxiety is there. I know what you mean when you say harder to control in public spaces rather than home. I find if I’m left alone where no one can see me I can generally calm them down on my own. But if I’m at home and the family home and suffer an attack I have to actually leave the house and drive somewhere secluded to get rid of it.
