Just over 6 months ago the father of my 3 children & partner of 19 years walked out on me. Today I found he is in a relationship with someone new and I am really struggling!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this right now @Gemini82 This must be really raw and painful having only just found this out today.
I'm not sure if there's anything I can say to make this easier for you, but we're here for you and can listen if you need to talk out how you're feeling and start to process things a bit

Thanks @Ru-bee, right now I'm extremely sad and trying to get myself together before I have to pick my daughter up from school.

That's a very understandable and valid feeling to be having right now @Gemini82, but I'm also hearing that you might not have the space to sit with that right now because you need to get your daughter soon. Is there anything that might help to bring you out of this feeling and get you feeling a bit more together? Maybe doing a bit of a grounding exercise, or something like splashing your face with water, or having a glass of water...something to be a little circuit breaker and refocus your attention for a minute?

Hey @Gemini82 ,
Thanks for sharing. I feel the grief connected to this revelation and it is understandable how hurt you are feeling right now.
Allow yourself to feel. Allow yourself to grieve. We are here, sitting with you.
By connecting with others, I hope you feel less alone on this journey.
