Hi i have just signed up to try and gain more support around my illness of schizophrenia as I have been so blind sighted by it for 3 years but am finally starting to expect my self as a person but would like some support when things get tough

Hi @Hello_
I live with schizoaffective disorder which is like schizophrenia and I also have depression. It is a difficult illness to come to terms with, especially in the beginning. Good for you to join the forums as the people here are very supportive and welcoming.
You're definitely not alone, in fact schizophrenia happens to about 1 in 100 people.

@Hello_ I have had Schizophrenia since 2006 and often while on medication I would forget this because my life would be so normal.
