Hi
I am new to SANE. I am looking for some connection and some strategies to help me manage life with severe depression and some physical health issues. I have not worked since March 24 and everyday is a struggle. Friends and family try to show empathy but are busy with their own lives and I feel isolated and just so sad and sick all of the time.
I hope that I can find something positive through these forums

Welcome @Cedric , glad to have you here 😊
I’ve also struggled with depressive symptoms (as one of the aspects of my PTSD), and understand how isolating it can be to feel that way. I also get that feeling of how hard it can be to get through each day – it’s so heavy but invisible to others.
You mention that you’re looking for connection and strategies – is there anything you’ve tried up to now that has or hasn’t worked for you? Re work, do you think you want to go back to work, or would alternative programs etc be something you’d be interested in?
good on you for taking the leap and reaching out here, there is definitely hope and ways to get there ^_^
