@Tawny22 You are not alone in your struggle. It’s very real and can be so hard.
Trauma as you would know is stored in the body which is why it’s so hard to verbalise and communicate what we feel and need and why it feel so unmanageable. It’s a whole language within itself.
I know you said you are waiting for a therapist but besides that what supports do you have in place currently? What do you do to manage your symptoms? Grounding techniques? Cold therapy? Meditation?
it’s really important that you see a trauma informed therapist. I recommend looking at the ISSTD website to find one if this therapist you will see is not experienced with trauma informed therapies.
