@Paperdaisy I contacted SANE earlier, it helped a bit. But I really need to see my psych soon.

@Snowie glade that seeing the psych helped. I just submitted an assignment. Wasn’t fully satisfied, but better than nothing. I don’t think I’ll do much for the rest of the evening. Will try to go to bed early. These urges are very frustrating, trying to resist. I just hope I can make it in bed without doing anything destructive.

@Eve7 I feel you. SH is hard. I hope you are okay and taken care of yourself. Sending you lots of love ❤️❤️❤️

@creative_writer I am glad you contacted Sane, hoping it helped.

Well done for submitting the assignment, I am sure you would have done fine. 

An early night sounds good to me, I think I will be in bed soon too

Glad you were able to chat to someone @creative_writer is there anything you can do to distract yourself before bed? Maybe draw/write?

@Snowie and @Paperdaisy got through yesterday without SH. Had meds early and went to bed, probably need to work on my self worth.

That's encouraging to hear about the SH @creative_writer. I'm guessing the meds may have helped in that regard, but I'm curious as to whether there's anything else that you did that may've helped also? 😊

@TideisTurning I think I kept delaying it until I felt too tired, more or less doing other activities to distract myself. I think I’ve been triggered just now, I was okay just a while back and these urges have just gotten stronger. I don’t want to trigger anyone, so that’s all I will say.

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling triggered right now @creative_writer, though appreciate your consideration of others in terms of the potentially for triggers. If what you're experiencing becomes too distressing, I want to encourage you to reach out for support from somewhere like Lifeline, Beyond Blue or Blue Knot. SANE also has a support centre you can access to speak to a counsellor or peer support worker via chat non-urgently if that's something you'd like. Are there any other ways you can think of that you may be able to take care of yourself this evening?

@TideisTurning. I’ve spent some time with family. Had some fruit and took my meds right now. Going to pray and get ready for bed now. I’ll reach out if I feel up to it.
