I don't know my niece and nephew so well. My nephew here is very quiet. The girl is more frisky @Captain24 She's an amazing swimmer though. She's only 6 and is in squads. She has competitions every Saturday.
But no, I can't say I'm close to them.
How's your family trip planning going? All sorted?
yesterday
Oh @Snowie , forgot to answer. I'm here in Sydney for my parents. I actually grew up in Sydney, then I moved away.
I see my parents once a year...
yesterday
I’m trying to not think about it too much. @tyme. Just the packing and stuff. The spending so much time with my parents is to overwhelming right now.
Im in a really bad place so I don’t want to think about it.
A 6 year old in comps is huge.
Do you form a little relationship with them while you are there?
yesterday
Thats nice of you to visit them @tyme I hope you are able to enjoy yourself.
I hope you have a good time. Am I right in assuming that you will still be working or are you having some time off?
Just finding it hard with supports away. Somethings happening out of my control.
@Captain24 is there anything you can do to help with the thoughts? I know you've been trying all day too, so must be tired.
Do you like watching the tennis at all?
yesterday
I’m exhausted @Snowie. The internal battle is so hard.
I hate tennis. I’m just watching virgin river still. So much drama goes on and so much rip your clothes off sex. Some of it gets a bit much.

It's hard to connect more with them because they are always so busy. During the school holidays, they are on vacation care everyday. Then after school, they have swimming, cricket, soccer, gymnastics and everything else. @Snowie @Captain24 They are hardly ever at home. Their dad doesn't work. Only my sister works. After he was made redundant, he wanted to just be a stay at home dad.
They are loaded anyway so finances is not an issue.
They go overseas to different places all the time...
And @Snowie , I'll be working. Sane forums is my sanity... I'd be lost without it. I'm going overseas at the end of this year, so that will be a challenge because I can't work from overseas. We have a geo blocker on the forums.

I don't like the tennis either @Captain24 I find it boring to watch, but will sit through a whole 5 days of cricket!!
However, I have actually gone to the Aus Open a few times and it is a lot better live.
Never watched Virgin River, but I don't normally watch many tv series.
No doubt you are exhausted hon.
yesterday
Sounds like they are very busy with afterschool activities @tyme
So glad you will still be around. The forums are a much better place with you here.
Where are you going at the end of the year?
yesterday
That’s sounds really busy @tyme. It makes it hard. But at least you have made an effort. Do you spoil them?
That’s cool he is a stay at home dad. At least he can run the kids around everywhere.
Do you have plans tomorrow?
