My mum still blames me for ruining chistmas and ruining her life @Captain24 and never being able to have the family together again.
But for my own mental health, cutting of contact with my brother was what was needed.
You will have to show us a photo of the wreath when you are finished.
I am obsessed with cricket. I think it comes from my Nan. She used to love it too and I would walk to her house and watch it with her when I was young.

I’m a little or should I say a lot relieved. @Snowie. My brother is only coming for a day trip and it’s on Saturday while I’ll be asleep! I’ll be on nightshift. I don’t have to see him!!
Mum wasn’t happy as they will have to go to her place but I don’t care.
I can imagine your mother. I think our mothers are very similar. I am imagine the guilt trip she puts on you. I really feel for you with her.
I will post a photo when I finish it. Not sure I will today though. Mum and dad are coming around this afternoon. I tried to talk them out of it but it didn’t work.
Dad’s obsessed too. He likes most sports though.
Pix has been asleep I get my bed all morning. She has just come out and sat in front of me. I’m guessing she wants lunch! They are so clever and cute.

oh that is certainly good news about your brother @Captain24
Great that he isn't coming to your house now. Even better that you are working!
Hopefully they don't stay long this afternoon so you can have the time to yourself. Hopefully you Dad wants to get home to watch the cricket.
They are very clever. They know exactly when it is time for food. Izzy is asleep on my lap. I think she is still recovering from yesterday!

I’m still waiting for them to come. @Snowie.
So much pressure off!
Im sitting on the lounge waiting. Watching Firefly Lane. I’m struggling to keep up with it.

So I thought it was wrong for feeling really low and flat today. Today has been a real struggle. I didn’t think I could admit to it.
I’ve been struggling with self care. I haven’t been able to focus on anything.
Im not ok. It all feels too much. I don’t want to do it. I don’t know if I can.
yesterday
@Captain24 it's ok to feel that way.
Can you just focus on hour by hour. Just getting through the next hour or so.
You got some lego done. That's self care. Does it matter if you didn't finish it? No
yesterday
I’ve had a nap @Snowie. Jett woke me up though.
I actually feel worse than I did Christmas Eve.
How are you really going?
yesterday
A nap sounds nice @Captain24 You must have needed it.
I can understand feeling worse hon. Its like we use all our energy getting through xmas day and then fall into that slump.
I'm just fighting those thoughts
