I managed to pee @outlander! Just enough time to rush home, change into my work clothes, get petrol, and now waiting for my psych appt. I'm nervous because I am going to ask him to change my tablets and I've done research and I want him to let me take a certain medication but I'm worried he will say no. And I've decided to tell him that his receptionist are rude and never answer the phone. So I truely hope that one of them isn't his wife

Wow busy girl arent you! Good luck with your psych appointment. Ill be here for you if and when you need to chat ok and if you want to let me know what happens.
Good on you for telling him about receptionists too!
Just talk to him and see what he says about meds you might be surprised and if he says no dont be afraid to ask him why not remeber thats what hes there for

Hey @outlander so he listened to me and also cancelled on of the ADs I hate and put me on the one I wanted so that's really good. I chickened out of telling him about his rude receptionists though! I also cried and cried about things and he was very nice. He has given me 10 sessions with a different psychologist and has written to him saying I don't want to talk about past traumas I just want to learn strategies! Then after our first session they will speak on the phone. Smells like progress to me

Although I did have a few more diagnoses thrown my way but I kind of don't care about the labels anymore, I just want to feel better! Feeling optimistic ... I hope that lasts longer than an hour or so though... Fingers crossed. Gee that turned pessimistic pretty darn quick! Stupid darkness. Grrr.

@Former-Member that sounds likw good news to me! Im really glad he listened to you about your meds. Dont worry about the receptionists last of your probs.
And im glad hea liatening to you about the psychologists aa well and what you want out of them.

Hey outlander mate how's it going. I don't know how I am. I'm good then I'm bad then I'm good then I'm bad etc. went to a new psychologist today who was kind of good but I am confused by his jibberish. I just wanna eat chips and drink wine and lay down and hug my dog and then sleep for ever
