Ooo, another question, seeing christmas revolves around food:

What your favourite Christmas dish? (To eat of cook, or as @Mazarita does, virtually prepare )

Well I'm about to glaze our ham for the first time with maple syrup, honey, mustard and cloves. Should be nice.

Christmas pudding!!!

I bought some from the supermarket a few days ago. Individual serving, and some custard.

Yummo! Although I am looking forward to Hot Cross Buns being available in the supermarkets in a few days.

@CherryBomb In recent, more depressed years, I was usually just glad when xmas was over, though some nice things sometimes happened even during those times too. This year, in better spirits within myself, I have enjoyed it much more. Like you, I'm glad it's been a quiet one, that is definitely my preference in general. I've enjoyed most of today. Favorite xmas dish from childhood was moist plum pudding with cream. Still like that if I can get it.

Yeah i was told it is the smallest shop you have ever seen 🙂 he does really well with it.

I am feeling releaved. i was so scared all day someone was going to come here or ring the house. these are the days i just want to go quickly.

I am glad you had a pleasent day, and in such beautiful surroundings, please be careful as i know bushfires are realyl bad where you are this time of year.

Hi @Jacques - I'm agnostic - I favor saying "Merry Xmas" or a new one I saw on a memes on fb - "Merry Everything & Happy Always" 

I'm glad you had a peaceful day. How is your mother's health now?

Nuts - yum! Our vegan cheesecakes are made with a lot of nuts. Thank you for the vegan goodies! 

I didn't buy my kittens any gifts - just dine DESIRE food - instead of just dine food. They seemed to love it! Katniss was growling while eating - making sure the others didn't pinch her share I think. She has certain toys that when she is playing with & the others come near her - she growls. The kittens have so many toys! I was going to buy them a brush, but my partner said he saw our beloved cat's - Biscuit ( RIP - Xmas 2007 - November 2013) - his brush in the shed. We really wanted to buy them one of those carpeted towers/scratching posts - we found one online for $100 - similar ones are $300 - $500 in pet stores... We just didn't have the $$ though.... Hopefully in the future. 

My partner gave me 4 items of clothing & earrings! He should of spent less on me & brought the tower for the kittens! I brought him the box series of Rake - anyone else a fan of the tv show Rake?!

I'm glad it's done but very anxious about tomorrow, I found today quite difficult with the kids trying to balance everything and do everything so that it was Christmassy. But its hard being alone.

Oh my it would have to be Stollen with marzipan, for sure, i buy so many of them as you can only get them at Christmas. i have 10 loafs at the house now 😮

Seems like most of us are quite pleased with how this year went. I think not having expectations helped me!

It was such a nice day. Like you @Mazarita, I woke up early and bugged my partner to get up early to so we could open pressies.

Then we made pancakes, skyped our with familes, and went for the walk. SO NICE.

@Aries, sounds like quite the feast you are preparing the there. Are you in charge of the ham? Seems like you are quite the cook! Also I had no idea that there was a Glow Worm cave here in the Bluey's. What's it like?

@Jacques It's rained the last week, so I think I'm right in the immediate future, but yeah, fires can get bad here. I'm in a kind of Urbanish area. How's it over your way in SA? Are fires a threat.

Hi @Former-Member, i am athiest thanks to my brutal treatment in a Catholic school, so i favour just good day, but i do try to get into the spirit of things for others.

that is an awesome saying @Former-Member, i am going to write that down!!!

Mum is not good, she has another Chronic illness and has to go to hospital in the new year for more tests, things don't look good.

My pleasure @Former-Member, i think highly of you and i am glad to share some delicious food with you 🙂

Oh my Katniss sounds very protective, the top of the pecking ordar you might say 🙂

What a lovely partner you have, i am glad he got you some nice things, and i am sure you will get the scratching post in the new year, maybe in the Boxing day sales 😄

Have you thought of making one? i am sure all the cats would like anything they can climb 🙂
