How are you? Creamy chicken and mushrooms sounds good. 

My plans this weekend don't include much but I do plan to try and make it through the weekend with out being in crisis on the forum (I feel that sigh of relief from @CherryBomb) I can't promise it but I feel ok and have some plans in place.

@CherryBomb & anyone else that needs help staying cool.
This is my first home with air conditioning. Before, to keep cool, I'd fill my bath with cool water.
I'd place a pedestal fan near the bathroom door and aim it towards the bath.
Hop in bath and soak yourself.
When you get out - only dry your feet (so you don't slip) & drip dry.
Keep the water in the bath & jump in and out whenever you need to cool down.
Another trick that worked for me:
A cotton dress - long dress - soak it in cold water - hand wring it out - then put it on (no singlet or under clothes).
Initially a quick shock as you put it on. But doesn't last more than a few seconds.
Then place yourself near a fan.

I missed mentioning you in the first post @Jacques as I was too busy googling pictures 😜  I'm glad you've got some good things planned for the weekend. My car is in desperate need of some TLC. Perhaps I'll try to show mine some love too. The poor girl had to go through my fourth son learning to drive her. She's had a hard life.

@Jacques yes, the heat affects many, it can really toy with our well-being. It seems everywhere is hot at the moment.

Thanks for the tips @utopia, going to try the wet clothes and perch in front of a fan. I've been keeping an ice pack on the back of my neck.

yes, one of my cars is 35 years old, she is a toyota celica, has some rust, but i can't let her go, mum bought it 3 months after i was born 🙂
