just had a dozen oysters that were reduced to a normal price from way over priced as expiry date was tomorrow @amber22 they were okay , not really worth reduced price, they dont grown them in WA so the price triples once it crosses the border , doubled, if you are lucky, worse than triple if you want to go that way.
read in local paper guy banging on about being an oyster shucker, like he worked for the King or something, well got a few overpaid gigs , 20 years ago in SA where the oyster came from it was $8/hr lol prob $12/hr now ha ha

thats good with parcel, I opened one once where I lived last, deliveries could be pretty random. I ordered a laptop on the internet, they gave it to my neighbours. they called me all embarressed like come and get it ..people just assume, well they bought stuff every week and me notso often and if I could I would arrange to pick stuff up as not safe

Oh that sounds crazy - it is insane how much the prices can go up, especially around this time of year too! I have never tried an oyster before, I always get a bit afraid of the texture. I am a big fan of king prawns though, but they are also very expensive.
I am going to have an asian salad tonight with some noodles. Looking forward to it as its one of my favourites that I haven't had for a while. I just get the packet mix from Coles and it does the trick @TAB

$12 per hour is close to slave labour @TAB
@Shaz51 Thanks
A bath would be good. @amber22 Maybe if I squeeze one in before son gets up. Baths at his end of house.
Yep. He is reverse time a lot these days. I make one meal per day and he can have it whenever he likes. So we do not stress about timing or eating together anymore. Just when it works.

That sounds like a good idea @Appleblossom I love having baths. I think I will treat myself to a bubble bath tonight.
That is a good plan that you have with your son, being able to eat together only when you can is all you can do! Great that the expectations are met with realistic ones ❤️
