Not long back from grocery shopping here. NOOOOO toilet paper ... again. This is my 4th weekly shop where I have been confronted with completely empty shelves! But hey ... I got mince! Yay!!!
Also a bit of a worry is that on little country hospital here has a local resident there with Coronavirus, as of 2 days ago. They dont know how she got it at this stage .. not been overseas or in contact with any known carriers. Investigations taking place still. That means any one of us around here could be infected by now. So the random possibility of having to go into self isolation is becoming a very real possibility now. Who would have thought it would reach us here in the rural backwoods. Makes it even more important that I at least have enough supplies to last for 2 weeks. So today I bought a few tinned goods as well as some mince and other meats I can freeze. I would not call this stockpiling ... my freezer and cupboards were nearly bare. Just need toilet paper now and tissues.
I think I spotted @Former-Member floating around a while ago ... how are you doing? Okay I am so tired after my shopping trip. I am going to go and put my feet up for a while and read while hubby is having his post lunch snooze.
