Re: Good Morning!

@StuF no. He suggested today, I said after 10:30 and please let me know when to expect him. It's Airtasker and I don't have his details. I might message him again.

Re: Good Morning!

Interesting start in the cricket @TAB !

Crazy at first, seems to have settled (I'm only kinda half watching)

Re: Good Morning!

That sucks @Dimity 😞

Re: Good Morning!

Yes its weird what they expect us to eat @Dimity I can't have many things I used to like.  How about Amaranth or Quinoa? Theyre a bit high in carbs. Puffed Amaranth used to be sold at Coles. But you can cook the grains version with water and add apple and stew it that is what I used to do.

Re: Good Morning!

Yeah just catching up on it @StuF  maybe I need a distraction ok I do

Re: Good Morning!

Haven't tried them for breakfast @SmilingGecko but I found brown rice & quinoa, and an ancient grains mix, in microwaveable packets. I've also been trying different low GI breads.

Re: Good Morning!

I mentioned before I went for a walk @TAB and my blood sugar dropped to 4.7 I'm getting a handle on my testing machine lancet and strips. Wow that is what exercise can do. My diabetes educator wants me walking every day. I've just tested before lunch, will wait two hours and test again. She wants me testing before and after main meals three times a day for three days.

Re: Good Morning!

That sounds like a big difference @SmilingGecko can't remember how it works as walks get longer

Re: Good Morning!

Hey all
Feeling very rank here

Re: Good Morning!

Thats good @Dimity I know how hard it is to lose weight on these meds!

Have you looked into Konjac? Its a grain made into a replacement rice, spaghetti and fettucine substitute with virtually no carbs.  The brand is called "Slendier" That is what my dietician told me

As a sweetener I use "monk fruit" sugar which is great for diabetics. I bought it this week.

Has your tradie arrived yet? Theyre really busy this time of year
