Re: C-PTSD

Thank you for the compliment, @NatureLover. It's nice to know I may have some worth to others.😊

Re: C-PTSD

Cheers, @JP81. Have a good day.😊

Re: C-PTSD

Hi @JP81,

I'm FloatingFeather, one of the peer support workers at SANE. Hope you are doing okay.

I just responded to another post by a new forum member named @Tabon who was also keen to chat with someone with PTSD if you would like to reach out 🙂

Best wishes,

FloatingFeather

This is good that you're adapting, but is there no possibility of your PTSD easing or improving? Maybe with talk therapy?

Re: C-PTSD

I have C-PTSD. I’m ok right now, but would answer any questions for me that I see.

The Psychiatrist who diagnosed me said I could be fixed with years of therapy if I ever wanted,

and I think that meant fixed in the context of achieving certain goals, such as if I wanted a girlfriend or job. etc.

On all Centrelink paperwork it has been marked as permanent.

The cause of my PTSD has ongoing elements that are unlikely to change.

@Wanderer  I am sorry to hear this 😞

I also have 24 hr - 7 day, Neuropathic pain in my feet, CRPS that is permanent and adds to the mix.

And this 😞

But I'm glad to hear things are better for you now than a few years back, and that you have good support.👍
