Re: Dogs Rock π
Hi @Former-Member
Hi also to @Maggie @Determined @Shaz51 @Tufftimes @Faith-and-Hope @Starta @Peri @Zoe7
My Holly is just lovely thank you Darcy. The cooler weather agrees with her and she's particularly cuddly with the cooler weather. And if she doesnt have a warm body to snuggle up next to, she twists herself into a tight ball within her special blanket on the couch. When it comes to getting out of the tight ball of blanket, it requires quite a deal of disentanglement.
With hubby being so unwell lately, and spending much of the day in bed, Holly often stays with him these days. She is in there now, squeezed in at the back of his knees on top of the quilt, but with a light blanket thrown over her. Just her little face is visible, poking out to peer at me as I wander in to check on the pair of them.
Hubby is waiting for a hospital bed in the city hospital to become available so he can be admitted for investigations and treatment by a neurologist. So I am going to have to make some plans on leaving poor little Holly somewhere during my absence. Thats always hard, as I hate leaving her. Even though I know she is much loved and well cared for at the two places we usually leave her when we have to. I dont know how much advance notice I'm going to get for the hospital, so I need to make preliminary plans now. As for accommodation for myself in the city ... urgh ... no idea. Possibly may be able to get into hospital accommodation if anything is available for family members there. Wish they would accept dogs.

Re: Dogs Rock π
Here's one which looks just like a previous dog of ours, same colouring, same expression. A working kelpie from our farm days prior to moving here almost 10 years ago. She loved working sheep, something thats inbuilt into them, that herding instinct. We lost Bessie to lymphoma about 5 years ago. She was a beautiful dog, a great worker and a fabulous devoted family pet.

Re: Dogs Rock π
@Former-Member The little Mexican is doing really well. She will be delighted to be asked after, as she thinks every phone call is for her, as well as visitors!!!!! Nothing like a canine companion.
