Looking for advice as I'm a first time father who is managing type 1 bipolar disorder.
Any tips and tricks will be greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with bipolar, but @Determined  is a carer dad around other mental health challenges in his household, and @eth might be able to offer advice  regarding bipolar.

Hi @Pitz   pleased to meet you.  I'm not sure from your post whether it's you or your child that has bipolar.  Or which type of bipolar it is.  I have bipolar 1.  The best way I can help is to refer you to the Managing Bipolar 1  thread I started some time ago.  I think the methods discussed there can help managing other forms of mental health challenge too.   Perhaps you could give that a read and then ask me any questions you have.  Just type @then my name with no spaces and you'll get a drop down box where you can click on my name and if you do that I'll get a notification of your reply.  Hope you find it helpful.

Hi also @Blep and welcome. Congrats on your little one. 4 months is pretty new. How are you finding it? I imagine it would be extra challenging having a newbie at the moment with the social distancing restrictions happening.
