Hi everyone..
I'm a long-time OCD sufferer with rumination or pure obsession OCD. I have been on medication for 20 years now [edited by moderator].
Over the last 3 months, I feel it is not working as well and I have been feeling pressure headaches along with OCD thoughts, dizziness, anxiety, flatness, and a general feeling of being on the brink of slipping deeper into an OCD episode.
Has anyone had this happen to them before? Can a medication stop working? If so, can a new SSRI help?
Thaksn in advance.. @RD66

Hey @RD66 ,
Welcome to the forums.
Whilst the forums cannot provide medical advice, it can be fair to say that medication reviews are often needed.
As our bodies and the environment we are in changes (stress, trauma, crises), medication may work differently - or not work at all.
It is best to speak to your prescribing dr.
And with SSRIs, there are so many different ones, so that may be an option too.
All the best.
