Re: Taking the plunge

@outlander  I read ⬅️⬅️ You had a bad night last night. Sorry you are still struggling with so much pain.

You are doing well to get through what you do, coping with so much . Lots of these for you. 💕💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Re: Taking the plunge

I remember that movie @Appleblossom   yes the reality of large families, especially when they are as poor as church mice.

My mother was one of 20, So things had improved. They got the reproduction right. Must have watched some rabbit movies.

Paving is hard work. Gloves , yes, I learnt that the same way you have. I hope you are pleased with your labour. Hugs. 💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

@outlander There are a few paths that have been just mulch as I could not afford paving everywhere when we moved in.   I am sick of traipsing mulch into the house.  It will take a few days work, nice and easy, not wanting to be stupid, but the fellow who was going to do it did not call back, and now I have started, I will finish. I want it done before the rains come.

@MaggieHollywood does not know the half of it ...

Take Care

Re: Taking the plunge

sounds good @Appleblossom
be careful you don't over do it though. paving mightn't be to hard but its hard on our physical bodies. im sure itll look great once your finished it

Re: Taking the plunge

Thank you @outlander

I am making my nest cosy.  Feel like I am settling in. Was not sure about staying here, but seem to be ... lol  I already have lots of bif stepping stones and putting down toppings.  I am enjoying being creative, if someone else did it, they would not pay same level of attention.  Being outside is good for me.  Its a tiny backyard.  I metre wide both sides of house and 2 metres deep at back.

I know you know about outside and hard work.

Hugs

Re: Taking the plunge

lol @Appleblossom
im sure your doing a great job and probably also giving you something to do as well atm.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning everyone

Hope you're feeling better today @outlander

How's your coffee @Maggie?

Thanks for the info re powder/concrete. I was wondering if ultracal 30 was it. I spent a while trying to find anything close to me other than plaster of paris without shipping it and annoyingly couldn't. It is going to cost almost double with postage if I can't find some 😑 Oops. I'm a bit excited about moulds though. What is your favourite to use? Also annoying with the upload images issue I am having here 😑 (So much is annoying me at the moment haha :face_with_rolling_eyes:)

I had a bit of a giggle at '6 less brothers'. I have less than a third of the amount of your brothers and found that hard. I can't imagine what that was like growing up. One of 20 for your mum is 😮 I'm guessing you'd have about a bazillion cousins.

Bonkers weather here this morning. The wind is incredible.

How's today looking for you? More caving?

Re: Taking the plunge

Yes, it’s expensive, but it comes in 9k ( I think) tubs. I did the same regarding postage, but this will make lots of moulds.

I like the heart and the large round moulds @CheerBear , but the candle holder looks interesting and different. I haven’t don’t it yet, but you are inspiring me. 🥰

Yes to zillions of cousins, but only in Ireland, not many here. My brothers have families, but I really don’t know, or haven’t met them. Estranged is definitely an accurate description of my ( not) family.

Raining here atm, no wind so far.

I will do some cleaning today. Strange, but it really helps to feel a bit better about what you’re not feeling better about.

I’m not surprised things are annoying atm @CheerBear . Go easy with you. Did you manage any painting yesterday?
