Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie β˜• It's a nice morning (as far as I can tell so far) and was a nice night here last night. Good weather helps πŸ™‚

How are you going this morning?

Hi @TheVorticon 😎 It's nice to see you this morning. Hope you're going OK enough (question or not- h however you'd like to take it).

Re: Taking the plunge

A nice night last night sounds good @CheerBear  πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Good weather certainly does help.

I spoke to bro last night. At the end of the conversation I said β€˜ Have a drink for me’his reply...’ I’ll have two, you sound thirsty β€˜ lol.

How is today looking?

Re: Taking the plunge

Is the moon still awake for you @Maggie? It is a very lovely morning 😊

Lol with being thirsty. How is bro? He's lucky to have you to speak with.

Are you seeing counsellor today with it being Good Friday tomorrow? (I think it is tomorrow haha).

I'm not sure about today. I'll venture to the shop for some fresh stuff (which I should have done yesterday - today could be busy). I'll probably go to a bigger shop (big w) too to pick up some school stuff and things for the kids to do. The usual after that I think.

How about you?

Re: Taking the plunge

I’m not sure about counsellor this week @CheerBear . I might get a phone call today, or a text. It’s tricky. Just going with it atm. I’m sure she has her work cut out for her with the present situation, and now Easter,

I was supposed it is Good Friday this week too @CheerBear , when did that happen.

No moon here. It’s looking grey, but forcast for a nice day....I think.

Oh, I hope the shops aren’t too busy today @CheerBear .

I will tidy my kitchen, just in case counsellor comes lol. If it’s nice, more tree freeing. Yes, it’s a lifetime job.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear  Definitely not me.

Re: Taking the plunge

I'm in the same kind of boat with my psych @Maggie, wondering if I'll hear from him as tomorrow is our usual appt and we didn't reschedule it for the public holiday. Thinking many people are a bit all over the place at the moment. MH people definitely have their work cut out for them. It is tricky.

Bonkers how it's just come around already. It's bunny weekend here and that's about it. Not having any ties to religious beliefs with it means it's all about magic and chocolate. And usually all the family. It will be the first Easter we've spent without them all. Super sad there πŸ™

I'm seriously hoping the shops aren't too busy either but seriously doubting it. Kids need some quiet spaces to start school next week. If I can, I'll try and organise that over the next couple of days. It will be some work to magically create space where there really isn't any :face_with_rolling_eyes: Our house is feeling very small.

You've got your hands full of that tree haha. Is it something that feels good to get stuck in to?

Can't see your pic yet. Maybe once I push post 🀞

Re: Taking the plunge

Hahaha! That is definitely not me either @Maggie. I barely get out of my pjs πŸ˜‚

You find some great images!

Re: Taking the plunge

Magic and chocolate sound very good to me @CheerBear . Really sad about family, especially with unwell person. Everyday counts. Really big one to be trying to cope with on top of everything.

Tiny house becoming school is tricky. Creating quiet would be also. Gosh, it’s just so hard on almost every possible level. Life has become about basics.

The tree is good @CheerBear . I can see new growth on leave where I’ve freed up from the vines. That’s exciting. The undergrowth is tricky and hard, but I don’t have a time frame. One day I hope to see a little garden there. But it’s in my mind for now. I have a small patch out front too. Just deciding on what to put there. It’s so good in many ways, seeing things grow. Colour, smells.

Ready for a second......it’s my third..😁😁😁

Re: Taking the plunge

I was just about to ask if you're ready for your second (or third) @Maggie 😁

I am really, really sad about unwell person. Much more than I think I'm letting myself be or letting on. If something happens before the restrictions are lifted it will be... it's not worth thinking about. I miss being with them a lot. We all do πŸ˜”

It's all tricky for many of us. Huge stuff. What a mess this year has been already. It is all about basics now. I think that's kind of cool but tough too. We're lucky in so many ways. It's a reminder of that I think.

That is exciting to see some new growth under there, especially with all of the work you've put in to it. So glad you have a little space to create and watch some outside life in. What a change from needing to dodge the green policeπŸ‘¨β€βœˆοΈ

We had a special delivery yesterday. A friend dropped off some Easter gifts for the kids including... you ready... chalk!!!! Ridiculous that's now in such high demand. It's like the toilet paper of kids toys haha. My order is floating around in pre-order land. My eBay chalk, that I paid a bonkers amount for (sigh for spur of the moment frustrated purchase :face_with_rolling_eyes:), is stuck in transit land. We were chalk-less until that special gift so I'm very thankful πŸ’—

Re: Taking the plunge

Yes, I really do understand all the big stuff with unwell person. Some avoidance is necessary I think, especially when it’s out of our control. @CheerBear  I know it’s really tough there. Lots of ❀️❀️❀️❀️

Yea for chalk delivery. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’šπŸ’š Who would have thought,  a few mths ago, that this is where we would be!!!!! Big πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ for the deliverer. Some real kindness happening in and through it all. Did you use it ??

Oh the grass police was really messing with my head. Freedom here is lovely.

I’m waiting for a vacuum cleaner to arrive. It was due last week, but with all the boarder closures etc, things are getting stuck in transit. Any excuse....really...I do not do house work well anymore. 😁😁😁
