I'm sorry to hear it's been hard to find a peer worker to engage with @EternalFlower, though glad you've been able to find someone in the end!
While a little separate to the hospital system, know there are peer workers here at SANE. We are around on the Forums (like I am now), we run the weekly Online Peer Group Chats (more on that here) and you can also access Web Chat to connect in real time with a peer support worker 1:1 non-urgently if that is something you'd like 😊

@Bow, I just want to say that I think that is awesome you've had (& taken) the opportunity to be involved in the focus group and provide a lived/ living experience perspective. I know you will be amazing! 😊

I would so love to be employed to do a peer worker job like this at the hospital. Here waiting for an opportunity to do this in QLD,
😍
