Re: A long rave

@Mazarita OMG! I love 'Frasier' particularly Nyles (I always had a thing for him ...). You you Mazzy and the rest of the Long Ravers are having a great day. Lots of love gp xxxx

Re: A long rave

Afternoon everyone

Thanks heaps for your understanding, kind replies this morning @Mazarita and @Sophia1. My apologies @Sophia1 if what I wrote appeared as a private conversation. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed when I logged on and tried to catch up this morning, and also reluctant to tag others in that post. I really appreciated reading your reply and thank you again for your understanding. Seesaw experience describes it well. Hugs for you and what you're going through.

@Mazarita hoping Frasier was enjoyable and that you're getting through the day in the way you hoped. Looking forward to a coffee in real time whenever it may happen next ❤

Hi @MDT and thanks 🙂

@Exoplanet - woohoo and go you on making it! Hope you're enjoying your time away!

I went to my weekly arty crafty women's group thingy today and it felt really good. Sharing experiences and feeling that "me too" feeling really helped today. Quiet feet up for the rest of the afternoon (at least until school pick up) I think.

Hope the day is going well for all 🙂

Re: A long rave

Hi everyone and thanks for the tags from those who did them.  @Appleblossom @Faith-and-Hope @Exoplanet @Mazarita @CheerBear @greenpea @MDT @Sophia1 @outlander @Shaz51  and anyone else passing by - hope today has been one of the better ones for you all.

Sending love for what you are going through @CheerBear You are special and give so much to others - take care and be gentle with yourself.

Have a wonderful adventure @Exoplanet - go you for getting there.  May it be the first of many such trips.

I thought some of  you might like these quotes from Flourish about recovery :

"Recovery is about developing a hope-filled approach in one's life while living with a mental health issue".  (In the context of life-long psychosocial disability not being at odds with 'recovery')..... "... addressing and working to overcome the functional impairments experienced so you can move towards achieving goals and live a life that has meaning for you..."...."...social inclusion and having the resources, opportunities and capabilities to learn, work, engage in the community and have a contributing life and a voice in a future of your choice...".

Thanks for the mention on the Community Wrap-Up @Former-Member it really means a lot to me.

Re: A long rave

Hi @Exoplanet, sounds like you've found a great spot for your camping adventure. Wow to pelicans and seagulls where you are, which I imagine is quite inland! I wonder how they come to be there. I'm kind of glad there are other quiet people there, seems safer to me somehow. Though your by now renowned cattle prod also sounds like a pretty strong deterrent to other humans who might make the mistake of taking you on, (not to mention your strong dog). Makes me happy to think of you safe in your adventuring. Also sounds cool that you got to see roads and places on the way that you hadn't seen before. Looking forward to more of updates from Camp Exoplanet.

Hi @MDT, thanks for the message earlier today. I've had a very quiet day here and, despite not wanting to, I ended up napping some of the day away. But enjoyed my favourite show, Star Trek, and looking forward to some Big Bang Theory tonight. How are you going, my friend?

Hi @greenpea, high five on the two of us digging Frasier. It's a classic. Niles Crane is a great character. Cute that you have had a 'thing' for him.

Hi @CheerBear, great that you went and enjoyed your arty crafty womens group today. I haven't achieved any of my aims today, except get roughly dressed and make the bed. But I'm hoping to make it to a craft group tomorrow morning. That will be a new activity for me so I hope I make it.

Hi @eth, wondering how the meeting went with your co-ordinator of supports. I think it was today? Hoping it may have alleviated some of the anxiety you have been experiencing in relation to the ndis processes. I'm happy too to see you once more celebrated in this month's community wrap-up.

@everyone, kind wishes for this evening, hope it brings some good moments for all.

Managing alright
Hope you have a nice night 🙂

Re: A long rave

@Mazarita Haha! Niles Crane and that cute dog was adorable. Very witty show, ageless. Hope you have a restful night and sleep well. xxx

Re: A long rave

I thought that this was just another message @Mazarita...little did I know it's so sensitive and caring to @CheerBear.

You talk about her appointment with her Gp and going on mood stabilizers. We are all different and I must comment that going on 100mg of mood stabilizers has saved me immensely. It has also been able to show me when to stop doing something before I get overwhelmed.

Hopeless feelings,  depression, little coffee spots to regenerate. Can I meet you two there too?

Re: A long rave

Hello to everyone from Camp Exoplanet 😄

Had a pretty broken nights sleep last night, not because of anxiety, but because my staffy just couldn't settle {maybe he had the anxiety?}. We may be camping, but there are more people & lights & dogs & . . . everything here than what my dogs see at home. Home is a super quiet bush block that no-one ever comes to. So myself & my puppies all napped today 🙂 There's a pretty resticted area for walking, a park beside the camping area that ends in a rock wall that you simply can't go any further & there's a fence that actually goes out into the water stopping you from going any further on the other side. But the walk we get is still so completely different to back home, we get to walk along the waters edge! 😄 This dam has the blue-green algea problem, though you still see boaters & people fishing, there's a sign saying the swimming & the likes could make you sick if you accidently swallowed the water! & to make sure to remove all the intestines of any fish you catch to eat - & yet there's a sign saying they stock the dam with fish for fishing?!? On our afternoon walk we came across 2 dead turtles & a dead duck - could be normal, I'd say there's a large population of them & the drought is no doubt affecting the area {though there's still green grass here! 🙂 } but I thought findig 2 dead turtles close together was odd? I spent the day having a good read of a book I started probably a year or more ago, I really enjoyed it 🙂 Had my second hot shower this afternoon . . . mmmmmmmmmm it was good 🙂 I am thinking of putting the staffy in his cage tonight so I can sleep better, I'll see how he settles {he's sleeping at my feet at the moment} Will pack up tomorrow and head back home, I'm sure to play with the photos I've taken, though I haven't taken many, it's been pretty overcast the whole time & I feel a bit . .. I'm not sure if embarrassed is the word, but that's the one I'll use; I don't feel like walking around with the camera where people are. Oh, I had lunch with a cute little bird today, I don't know if it was a butcher bird, it's beak didn't seem big enough, it was black & white but not a magpie or a pee wee; it actually flew down & sat on the table, at one point it even stayed there & ate with me 🙂 There also a little indian miner that despite having an entire dam to drink from, always comes down to the tap {another amazing point is that the table & chairs with the shelter has a tap with it! Though it has a no drinking water sign on it} & drinks from it 🙂

Love to you all Heart
