@Mazarita the area where your friend lives sounds great 'friendly bus drivers' that doesnt happen very often then again I am originally from a big city where the bus drivers must have been stressed to the max.  

The man is totally sane it is me that is nutty as a fruit cake :). But I think he wants more than friendship if you know what I mean ... so is better this way besides my furry friend doesnt like the smell from his dog on my hands and shoes when I get back from seeing him. A bit of jealousy going on there me thinks.

@greenpea, ah, yes, it may be best to keep a distance then. Maybe we are meant to be ships passing in the night with some people. A jealous dog. I think one of mine was like that. He actually bit my music teacher when she came to pick me up for a special group outing with fellow fourteen year old music students, to a concert.

 my dog years ago knew our neighbours very well but one night he walked in our yard at 6pm and wearing a helmit , sheran straight out and grab his boots -- the neighbour was not happy , but my dog was protecting her family - us

A rabbit, @greenpea! You're lucky they don't eat you! (Do rabbits like peas, lol?) I know I don't like eating rabbit. That's another thing I've never eaten that I can remember. Dad and I once rescued a bunny from a trap when we used to go out at night into the forest, I was very young. I held it gently in my lap all the way home in the car. I loved it so much. 

@Shaz51, it made me wonder how often your neighbour wore a helmit, lol!
