Hey @heylol
I have BPD as well, and I was taught that people with BPD often feel emotions more intensively than other people. It's not that the feelings aren't real, it's just that sometimes people with BPD experience their emotions more deeply than other people.

I learned about something called limerence and reading about it has helped me a lot. I used to fall in love with or obsess over people a lot more before learning about it.

Hi @heylol ,
Simple answer? No. You’re not alone.
i have BPD. I used to have similar feelings, but since my recovery, I don’t get that anymore.
It was the black and white, all or nothing behaviour.
Love people till I smothered them
wasn’t healthy. I’ve learnt to put boundaries in nowadays. And I monitor those boundaries closely.
