Truth

Hi, I’m all for truth in all relationships that I have. I acknowledge that this can be tricky sometimes, some people just don’t understand what I think.

I think fear of making mistakes is a silencer, other times ignorance plays apart. Lucky I have a great love of life and have a lot of patience for people. I remember someone saying to always be polite and answer mindfully any questions asked. I’m not an elitist- the enlightened most likely will find their own way in life but those who struggle need attention and help.

Re: Truth

Hello @Inspire

Aiming for truth within all of one's relationships is a pretty brave thing to do. I'm interested to hear more about what truth means to you in this context?

I think that we can be socialised to withhold a certain amount of truth in most relationships. I think this can be both a positive and a negative - it can be positive in that we may feel more agency in deciding when and where we feel comfortable to share our truths, but it can be negative in creating a culture where we lose some connection that inherently comes when we are able to be open and honest with one another. What do you think?
