Re: No time for self care? Here's a 5-step guide for busy people
Hello @Karren, @Agnes1, @lindabar, @Former-Member, @Alessandra1992, @Tulip1
Self-care is important. It helps you to stay phyiscally and emotionally well, which puts you in a better place for both you and the person you care for. Here's 5 things that you can do to squeeze it into your daily routines.
1. Start with your needs first
2. Schedule it
3. Priortise
4. Be assertive about setting your boundaries
5. Focus on little on often

Re: No time for self care? Here's a 5-step guide for busy people
Interesting article @Shaz51
Slowly learning to say NO! to people but its not easy and completely against my nature. Also in times of crisis when self care is needed most after doing what needs to be done little energy or interest in doing anything for myself (eating is a chore) , call that an identified area for improvement.
I am looking forward to some me time in 5 weeks when my last assessment is submitted. Weather permitting planning to take our boat out, know a quiet area where little or no phone reception and not much traffic where I can just sit and think and enjoy my own company. If I can catch some dinner that will be a bonus.

Me first is not always possible @Shaz51, problem is me last can become a habbit and expectation. Thats where boundaries become important.
