I remember Jerry Seinfeld saying something like... comedy taste is more personal and specialised than food or music. I think that is true. Not everyone finds the same things funny.

yeah @Former-Member , I think you're on to something, saying something in a non threatening way. I reckon sometime the best laughs have come out of someone saying something that everyone else was thinking about. It can help lighten up a tense situation.

@PeppiPatty Ok. Here's my favourite knock knock joke.
A: Knock knock?
B: Who's there?
A: Europe?
B: Europe who? (You're a poo?)
A: YOU'RE a poo!

I just want to quickly say thank you all so much for this much needed chat.
I think humour is important as it is a great stress reliever.
I'm sill laughing at you're a poo...
I heard this one the other day, which I think is great... and made me realise that I like really bad jokes...
I am terrified of elevators. I'm going to start taking steps to avoid them.

@CherryBomb It depends on the situation. If I felt genuinely hurt, I would be really honest and let them know how I'm feeling. It's not good to hang on to those feelings and let them fester.
