Hi I have two children and husband who has bipolar disorder has no insight in to the illness, refusing medications during an episode. any thoughts or anyone going through the same situation.

I'm sorry how difficult things must be for you.
When he has an episode, are there professional supports?
Please know you are not alone.
I often read of those who really do not see that they need support.

Unfortunately, as you said, because he is not violent, it is hard to make him get help @BIJI
One he is not experiencing an episode, does he reflect on his behaviour e.g. his spending?
A strategy I've heard is to secure the money so he is limited to only a certain amount. Is this something you can do?
