Yes, they are sure very busy @Captain24 @Snowie My BIL goes for bike rides with them for hours and hours. He shows me the map he's taken them and it is a lot of kms. I can't believe the kids can keep up! But yes, he's very active and the kids do a lot of sports. My sister just works, then chills at home. They have a cleaner and everything.
@Snowie At the end of the year, I'm most likely going to India. I've been there before, but I hope to go to a different part this time. The culture there is so unique, but I don't like the food there so I bring my own.
I may go to the UK or Singapore too... I have cousins there. Don't know yet. Haven't booked it.
And yes, I love the forums so I don't know how I will manage without them while I'm away.

That is a lot @tyme. How old is your nephew?
Having a cleaner sounds awesome. But I would probably clean before they got here though.
We are having a thunderstorm and it’s interesting watch Jetts reaction to the thunder. He just bounced off the back of the lounge.

Sometimes it can get overwhelming @Captain24 Thats when I normally take it bit by bit.
Have you got any plans for tomorrow?
@tyme India would be a great place to go too. Very different culture to here and yes very different food.
UK and Singapore would be good. Been to Singapore but would defiantly go back.
I'm not sure how I will cope next month when I go away and won't have the forums.

My nephew just turned 10 @Captain24 . He's very very quiet. Doesn't talk much.
Actually, how ARE your dogs with thunder and fireworks? Ruby seems totally unphased. Not fussed at all. I was concerned about her, but she's totally good.. maybe being around three noisy kids is as loud and noisy as fireworks and thunder lol.
I don't really get cleaners because you still need to pick everything up off the floor and tidy up. They just mop, vaccum/sweep.
So you're just watching movies tonight?
@Snowie , I've been to Singapore too. It's pretty amazing there. But once again, the humidity is shocking.
When you said you were going away, is that to Japan?

Singapore is amazing @tyme but you are right, very humid.
I have Europe on my wish list, especially Poland.
Yes the trips to Japan. Going to be cold over there!
My mum has a cleaner and cleans the house before she comes!

Pix is terrified of fireworks @tyme. She was terrified of thunderstorms as well but since I started playing thunderstorms to go to sleep she has settled down. I use to have to hold her tight during storms. When they are really bad she looks for comfort. Jett is mostly fine with thunder he just jumped a few times tonight and looked outside. He lifts his head with every rumble. He hasn’t heard fireworks up close. So I don’t know.
I don’t get cleaners either. I couldn’t leave my place untied for them to clean.
Just watching a series on Netflix.
I’ve taken my meds hoping I’ll sleep and cold and flu tablets incase I get drug tested. They show up and I’ll get sent home until the sample is tested correctly.
Im working tomorrow @Snowie

Hahaha... people clean the house before the cleaner comes.... are these the people who need cleaners? @Snowie
Although I reckon the service is great for those who need it e.g. those on the NDIS.

Awwww @Captain24 , you're working tomorrow? Hope you feel up to it.
With one of my dogs in the past, Zac, he was terrified of fireworks and thunder. So every time there was thunder or fireworks, we'd play his favourite ball games and give him lots of 'fun'. At first, we'd have to turn up the TV/radio up loud and play with him, then later, we didn't need the TV/radio anymore. He very quickly associated thunder/fireworks with 'fun' and we had no issues after that.
It was pretty amazing to see Zac improve so quickly.

I don’t feel up to it at all @tyme. Mentally I’m far from safe being there.
Pix just use to freeze, drop to the ground and tremble. There was no deterring her. It took a lot of reassurance. I only acted if it was really bad. It was funny to watch her when I first put the thunderstorm music on. She needed to be comforted then but quickly associated it with sleep.
They are clever animals.
