Anxiety is high

did I say I was in hospital yesterday?  

so … this morning I woke up with terrible cramps. I managed to get an appt with my Dr. when I walked into the clinic the nurse took me into another room to lay down. 
my Dr saw the results of the CT scan and was shocked that they discharged me and told me I had nothing wrong. 
what I had was my ascending descending and transverse colon is quite blocked!!! My dr was angry. He showed me the images. 
I ended up crying because it was real. The pain is real and my dr validated it. 
he has prescribed a new med that should help. 

But as I write this I’m in pain. 
If it continues with new medication I will go to the bigger hospital. 

in my anger I wrote to the hospital and put a complaint in. 
They have already replied saying they will investigate and let me know. 

pain affects everything!!!

wow. that must've been a lot to process and deal with. i'm so sorry you were dismissed by the previous hospital, and good on you for speaking up about it too. i'm really glad you were able to be provided with proper care and attention in the next one. i hope you're able to get some rest and recover. are you resting at home now?

oh dear @BlueBay . I’m glad you have been seen to now. I’m sry you had to endure all that pain and not be trusted.

in hate that feeling - as though people with MH can’t have ‘real’ physical pain.

hi @rav3n yes i am resting.  Just took the new medication.  Fingers crossed it works.

Tomorrow is warm-hot; depending on how i feel we might go down to the beach for an hour or so.  not too long.  if i don't feel well i will stay home and rest up.  i won't be pushing myself.

sounds like a nice idea, the beach would be lovely to visit tomorrow. my day's been quite nice, it's been quite hot. air con has saved me though!

oh nooo!! that sounds awful @BlueBay do you think the pain meds will kick in soon? if not please don't hesitate to go to the hospital/GP or call 000 if you need immediate support.
