This is great!!
So let's have a few questions
1. How is it that my cat - who is a very small cat - can curl up in the middle of my queen bed and take up all the space?
2. How come it always rains if you water the garden or wash your car? Unless of course you do these tasks trying to make it rain - in which case - the drought continues
One more
3. Have you noticed that the queue you are in is the slowest?
There are no final answers to these questions - but I really wanna know what other people think of the impossible
And as has been happening - feel free to ask your own impossible-to-answer questions

oh the queue is always the most annoying thing in the world... even though i tel myself that waiting an extra 2/3 minutes probably won't actually ki ll me.. But i think we are just too good at noticing the small negatives in life.. so it stands out so much more strongly that something has held us up... or is annoying..
As to the cat in the bed question...i have a small child who islike that! when she comes into sleep inmy bed occassionally i end up with a crack of space along the very edge of the bed!

I have had cat in bed problems. I then got annoyed with myself for being so submissive to my pets. I let them sleep on me and put my back out etc. So I started to shake them off etc. There has been a little territorial positioning between my boy cats, so I would lock them out of the room as night time is supposed to be for sleep not conflict mediation.
Lately, they have actualy been really good in bed. Come up for snuggles one on each side, or they are happy to have one at my feet and the other up close.
It was worth lieing down for my rights with them. Win-win. Yay

I know I have spoilt my cat - but whose problem is that?
When I first got here over 12 years ago now - the guys in these units told me I was spoiling her by getting up and letting her in and out -
Who cares -
But the long and short of it is that she now scratches the end of my couch and I get up and open the door - and it works
But the bed - I have this terrible problem - I can't bear to disturb the cat when she's asleep in my bed - so I have to wait until she gets up - maybe this works - I might not notice this chores until I go to bed and I am going to mess it up myself anyway
This evening it feels like there is a storm coming - the weather is very heavy and cloudy - muggy too - and the cat is outside and won't come in
She likes water - she likes to play in the rain - okay - enough of this catastrophe

Hi @Decadian
Lovely to read you.Yes I still do the door thing or the bed thing sometimes .. I just try not to let it be all the time ... so the cats cope either way, and its not a complete control thing.
This has been my first time online since I went away ... I had a wonderful time, met some great people .. and feel inspired to make more music ... all for only $350 accom, tuition, food and travel .. computer is on go slow... so I will be more music focussed .. but will pop back online when I can.
Take care
