Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @Nin

Welcome the the Friday Feast! So glad that you could make it. Smiley Happy

I love Thai food, what dish did you get?

I moved from Melbourne to the Blue Mountains, but Melbourne still feels like home - it's where my family lives. I hear its been cold there all week, is that right?

What a lovely time to have fur baby, perfect snuggle weather. What sort of dog is it?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I thought I'd give the Friday Feast a try, since my son is busy snap chatting with his friends!
I got cashew, chilli and pork stir fry, it was yummy!
It definitely has been cold here all week, nothing like the blue mountains, I imagine?
I've got a border collie X kelpie and I'm looking after a Jack Russell, who is resting on my feet keeping me warm. It's just what I need after a pretty tough time 🙂

Hi @CherryBomb, @Former-Member & @Nin

I hope your night is going well, i thought i would stop in and say hi, It is the end of the week and i am so happy, it has been a very distressing week for me, i don't see it getting better next week, so i will just enjoy the company tonight.

i will bring desert tonight.  Apple strudel and vanilla icecream 🙂 something warm for a cold winters night.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi @CherryBomb and everyone
I just had curry puffs and pad Thai. Yum!!
Finished grocery shopping and now going home to feed jersey my kelpie. Hope everyone is enjoying their dinner.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

@Nin the Blue Mountains is stunning! I love it here. Have you visited it before? Your dog(s) sound so cute! I bet the border collie/kelpie cross must be smart and active? How old are they.

@Jacques so glad that you could make it tonight. I feel like I've not seen you in ages! Sorry to hear that your week has been distressing. What are you to this weekend? Any home repairs? Btw, the struddle look AMAZINGLY yummy.

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Heya @BlueBay

Sounds like yummy dinner.

You got a kelpie too? How old is yours?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

Hi everyone  @Jacques  @CherryBomb  @Nin  @Former-Member  @BlueBay  and others here by now.  Dinner here was so yummy tonight (even if I do say so myself!)  I had a friend over and we had a spirali pasta dish with smoked salmon, capers and dill in a white wine and cream sauce.  First time I've made it and it was all I hoped for.  Too full for desert at this stage!  My guest went back for more 3 times so I'm guessing she thought it was ok too 🙂

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I know @CherryBomb, i have not had the time to come onto SANE forums lately, i am helping two friends with SH and SI, one tried to take their life last week 😞

I seem to spend all my time now supporting them.  This weekend, i am making a big pot of ham and lentil soup and fitting a new storm water drain to my rain water tank.

I know i have not had Struddel in ages, i thought it would be a nice thing to bring to a cold night, it is freezing and wet in CW NSW, how is it in the blue mountains?

Re: The Weekly Friday Feast

I'm in tonight. We're having vege burgers. I'm still trying to cope with the flu.

My teenage kids have had me watching Harry Potter films this afternoon.

@CherryBomb
My kelpie is 2 1/2 and full of energy. I wrote a poem yesterday about her if you want to have a read. Its under "Silenus post writing as a form of therapy. "
