Im well......g.o.o.d.
I feel good becauze ive dealt with something i have been working hard on. Ive been trying to get away from someone and after i got 2 support letters written up, i called the police and got him removed. I had been sleeping on the loungeroom couch.....the abuse coming ouf of his mouth was awful and when i did call the police, i had anxwers to their quextuions, i felt very ready for this to happen.
Couldnt have done it as well as i did without writing on sane forums

Sounds like you had clarity about what was going on and took positive action. Good on you. Its sad when relations between sexes get toxic, but no use taking their abuse into our own psyches.

Hi @PeppiPatty
I hope you don't mind me joining in on the conversation, i have been following your story, and would just like to say congradulations, it takes real courage to do what you have done, i would like to give you a hug, so here is a virtual one, i am so proud of you, you got advice, but you were the one who put in the hard yards to get rid of him.
I hope you are able to move on with your life quickly and find some happyness.
take care
Jacques

i am fine, i was really down on friday, but slowly getting over it.
yes i have written some of my story, other parts are maybe best kept to myself, but it is in Our experiances and stories, page 2 heading 14th year housebound.
That is fantastic, you might be able to help them or give them some support, online is fine, but face to face is better, maybe you will give them some of the courage you have had.
you are an amazing woman, it is so good to see women like you standing up for themselves.

Greetings to forum members online this evening, nice to read your messages. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you @PeppiPatty. 🙂 I just got home from spending time with a good friend - enjoyed a pleasant few hours with her. The rest of the evening will be computer and TV. Agreed that TV is mostly poor these days but during the day I sometimes enjoy watching re-runs of classic old shows like Frasier (funny psychiatrists, hehe). Good on you for reading books. I've lost my mojo with that too at the moment, though I'm still reading news and articles on the web. Best to all.

Yay! I am a bit late for Friday dinner but hope you all forgive me. I finally remembered the old Control Save from wordprocessing 30 years ago. It worked. I still dont know how to copy and past unless there is a drop down menu.
