Its a huge struggle to have to deal with basics of getting a decent place to call home and some secure income.
Sometimes when media is done on poor people it feels like insult piled on top of injury.
I find it really difficult to admit when I am in bad situation and to ask for support.
Keep safe

I'm just glad you are here. This is the most social my week gets, its nice to feel connected to others!
I just had a look at the news (abc online) gosh its all bad!! I need to have a news filter so that its just good news that I read about! gosh the world seems a dark place in the news some days! but there is great stuff in the world to, i see it in my kidlets, there's still hope and light and fun, we just have to find the strength to keep looking and hoping for it and reaching towards it. hugs if ok,
LJ

Bye @Jacques! See you next week! I won't be here for a few weeks as I'm having sometime off - heading to NZ. Will definitely post some photos though.
@Former-Member the news is horrible! As a kid it actually use to give me nightmares. That, and crime stoppers. The news media relies on bad stories, as the old saying goes, 'if it bleeds, it leads'. Not the most bightest outlook of the world...
