@eth I hear you. Neighbours fighting is not good to live around. Happens occasionally here but not all the time. Are there places you get out to, some people you see?
@Appleblossom Lol about the undergrooming. I relate, am improving. I even shaved my legs the other day, lol.

Nup ... I wax every few years ... used to be more regular ...
have a reasonable wardrobe finally ... with my signature opshop pieces.
Have a Beethoven hairdo ... I say to my son next year I will start going to the hairdressers ... so tight and frugal ... I know if I spend $20 on clothes it will be around for long than the haircut.
I have lived in high density housing a lot as child .. and it is tough ...boarding houses and flats ... I am better off now ... nearly paid off little 3 Br unit in a little court ... with a bit of green next to us in which I garden ... also garages on either side to protect my neighbours from our music making at all hours of the night ... they dont mind.
A girl I knew from the housing commission as a kid is coming around tomorrow to pick me up and go for a girls day out ... I met her when I was in Grade 6 she a few years older than me ... my one long term friend ... tho we dont share a lot of ideas, dont vote the same or shop the same etc ... yet there is a loyalty re history.

@Mazarita there are a couple of friends I visit, one who visits me and one more I go out with occasionally to a movie. Another good friend is moving back up here soon so I'm really looking forward to that. This dry season I had a few camping trips with her which was wonderful after years of not adventuring that far.
@Appleblossom my grooming routine is very basic these days! Sometimes a ponytail lasts a few days for example. Best I don't get into more detail!!

@PeppiPatty were you referring to finishing time or something else?

I would quite like to move back down south to be closer to family at some stage but just get too anxious about going back to open market rental while I wait on a list for new public housing (you have to be a resident of NSW or QLD first before you can apply). I really couldn't handle it if I had to keep moving. Plus I'm in a good flat here and would have to give up my tenancy and a lot of my possessions and move to a smaller place. Just so much to let go of and deal with to make it happen.

I like the sound of your situation @PeppiPatty and yours @Appleblossom. That's the other thing I'd have to leave here - a great man who is excellent company and totally comitted to staying up here. We don't live together but have been involved on and off (mostly on) for 10 years.
