Self-worth

Many things these days can make one feel worthless for so many reasons. The things we see in social media or just this generation where trying to be the most perfect is applauded, it can be challenging to get through feelings of worthlessness. Developing self-worth is essential for a fulfilling life, as it shapes how we see ourselves and interact with the world. When we value ourselves, we set healthy boundaries, pursue meaningful goals, and build strong relationships. A strong sense of self-worth fosters resilience, helping us navigate challenges with confidence. Without it, we may seek validation from others, leading to insecurity and dissatisfaction. Self-worth also impacts mental well-being, reducing stress and anxiety while promoting inner peace. Ultimately, recognizing our inherent value empowers us to live authentically and reach our full potential.

I am having a small personal vendetta against the overuse of the word “perfect “. I think its current use is ridiculous and conflates lots of levels of being, attributes or achievements.
