I think that as I reclaim the air-waves in my home I will eventually listen to more audio books and watch more movies and listen to CDs .. it just hasnt been worth fighting for ... so I concentrated on being involved in live music rather than argue with my son.
I am gaining ground on claiming my piano and piano room. He packs up his things and goes to his end of the house and plays the other piano now ... it wasnt like that when I first joined the forum ... I was feeling pretty vulnerable.
I loved an audio book we had of The Happy Prince ... which we put on when the girls were young. I am tired and going to sleep, Night Night.

@Appleblossom, thank you! Mornin', all!
I do think that keeping positive as much as possible is important, but you also have to put yourself first at least part of the time or you won't be able to help others. - that is some excellent advice I received from a friend a while back. There are productive and non-productive ways to get anger out - non-productive ways to get anger out include hurting yourself and others; productive ways to get anger out include things like writing it down and, i dunno, other methods (you can look them up online). 'Be slow to anger and quick to forgive' is probably the best advice, and pray on it - you never know what miracle God will work for you! And yes, keep positive as much as possible, but not if you are truly bereft inside and hurting badly - then it's onto the phone to a friend for you or onto Lifeline (13 11 14). God bless 🙂
