Here again, sorry for suddenly disappearing mid-conversation earlier. Partner came home and we have made up. Have postponed talking about the problem until there's been time to think about it in a clearer emotional state. Thanks everyone for being there while I was going through that spinout.
@Former-Member, I missed you going earlier because I dropped out of the conversation suddenly. There is no problem at all that you didn't respond to my post. I always just take it as natural that people come and go on the forum along with the demands and struggles of their days, just as I do. I hope you are okay. I am so sorry if I have been involved in triggering you. Namaste.
@Terry, I feel like we are just starting to get to know each other really. I hope we can keep doing that.
@Former-Member, I enjoyed the Topic Tuesday too. I hope you do find your way back to music at some future time. Good luck tomorrow!
@PeppiPatty I have to say I am not always the most compassionate person, though I appreciate your kind thoughts about me very much. So great to see your beach! Thanks for the poem idea, that's lovely, something for the future maybe. ox

Thanks again to you, sweet Anne. That will be great when Arafmi starts up soon. I'm looking forward to seeing support worker tomorrow. We may go for a walk on the beach together. I hope so. Your picture hasn't come through yet but here's one in return for you and everyone who supported me in my distressed state tonight.

Quick last fact: Getting older will make yourself happier
As a final point, it’s interesting to note that as we get older, particularly past middle age, we tend to grow happier naturally. There’s still some debate over why this happens, but scientists have got a few ideas:
Researchers, including the authors, have found that older people shown pictures of faces or situations tend to focus on and remember the happier ones more and the negative ones less.
Other studies have discovered that as people age, they seek out situations that will lift their moods — for instance, pruning social circles of friends or acquaintances who might bring them down. Still other work finds that older adults learn to let go of loss and disappointment over unachieved goals, and hew their goals toward greater wellbeing.
So if you thought being old would make you miserable, rest assured that it’s likely you’ll develop a more positive outlook than you probably have now.

Not great you are so tired at the moment. You are involved in a move though, probably related to that as well? What's going on with your sleep (only if you want to go into it)? Here's something funny for you: I'm still kind of jumpy from tonight's events and I just sent a glass of cordial flying all over my bags, yoga mat, physio roller, desk and floor! What a nice sticky mess I've created, lol.
