Morning ..!
I’m planning to do some baking tomorrow. If I bake a cake I eat all of it and that’s not pro-mood at all. I hope to be to be relaxed the next couple of weeks so at least the rest of life won’t be affected.
if you are wondering why I’m posting a random message about baking, it’s to take my mind off other things.
Hope y’all r well,
sammy3

I've looked wistfully at all the christmas food but can't eat it with diabetes 😞 I wasn't planning on cooking much anyway but miss the cheese platter i used to do, xmas cake and yummy main meal. I think I'll be looking up diabetes christmas recipes instead. Should be interesting what I can come up with! Live it up @TAB thats great youre doing it for yourself, its what I do!

Yes its playing with fire. I got the impression from the diabetes educator that people don't follow the advice given @TAB. Even a light brekky with one weetbix, apple and soy milk can push blood sugar up and alcohol is not recommended. I try and exercise now they want me exercising every day which can keep the blood sugar under control. So just back from a walk! My blood fasting this morning was better but it went up after two hours. I had to increase the diabetes medication this week under the advice of diabetes educator. Its come down from around 7.3 to 6.3 first thing in the morning but got to get it lower. Thanks for encouraging me to walk. I walk nearly every day now. 20 minutes is all I can do and its brisk walking mostly.
