Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

@tyme I'm trying to avoid hospital if I can. But i do have a doctors appointment on the 13th if I can make it until then. It's just really not a nice feeling when it's going that fast.

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

If you feel too unwell, can you contact nurse on call or doctor on call @Gremlin24 ?

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

@tyme I'm treading with caution and if it gets too much i won't hesitate to call 000. My doctor has already told me to call an ambulance and go to hospital if it happens before I see him again so I'm technically being very naughty 🤣

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

Yes, please do contact 000. @Gremlin24

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

@tyme i will if I need to. For now I'm just trying to chill and colour in some pictures. At the moment we are sitting around 100 which is normal for me so I'm ok for now.

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

@tyme so it's far from perfect cos it's really hard to colour when your shaking so much and your vision keeps going blurry. But here is what I've done today.

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

Nice! You can laminate it and use it as a bookmark @Gremlin24 !

So pretty. Did you find it helpful just to do come 'mindful' 'mindless' colouring?

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

@tyme the plan is to use it as a bookmark but i don't read alot.

It's kept my hands busy which means I didn't do other things to hurt myself so I guess that's a bonus. But it hasn't taken my mind off of anything unfortunately. Downside is I am getting blisters cos of how I hold my pens 🤣.

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

Wow! Blisters? You must press down hard! I have a very very light touch when holding my pens. Hence I can write fast and for a long time. @Gremlin24

You might use this time to refine your pencil grip lol... you know those pencil grippers? They are so annoying! Trying to teach kids to hold a pencil.

You know, none of my nieces and nephews needed any support or intervention to hold their pens. They had a tripod grip from day dot.

Re: Feeling isolated and lonely

@tyme I've always held my pens/pencils tight like I'm strangling them. I got in so much trouble when I was at school for it and was ridiculed and bullied by teachers cos of it. I can only do short bits of writing and colouring at a time, but I can write in beautiful cursive so I can at least do something good.

I've never been able to use those pencil grips but I agree they are annoying and aren't necessary usually.

Kids usually learn naturally if they aren't rushed or forced into it. But these days it's not so much a right or wrong way anymore like it was when I went to school.
