Re: 365 Project

Thanks @Jacques .. it was a "good omen".

I went to a big motor cycle rally once which is one the same weekend as Bathurst. I cant say I have races on my tele often but @Bill16 I wondered how you were.

Re: 365 Project

Gday @Jacques , howve you been ? Yeah i have been better mate but slowly on the up sort of.

Re: 365 Project

@Bill16 that is fantastic news, i am so glad you are getting better, it is a long road, their will be a few bumps along the road, so make sure you keep an eye out for any signs of slipping back into depression, seek help when you need it and take time out for the simple things in life and you will be ok.

I'v been up and down, mostly the same, it is just great to hear you are feeling better.

Take care @Bill16.

Today I am grateful for the power of our imaginations and being able to see with my mind's eye.

Re: 365 Project

Today I am grateful for books. I did a Mindspot questionaire on assertiveness and scored "fairly but could improve a little" . I am also grateful for the public library system that I used a lot in the past and put myself through home assertiveness training ... for free. Couldnt justify the outlay for a course.

Next part of Mindspot is "Boundaries" ... oh dear ... not a strength ..

Re: 365 Project

Glad to hear that Mindspot is engaging, @Appleblossom, and that you are continuing with it. I'm grateful for books too, though I seem to have lost my ability to read books as avidly as other times due to current side effects of meds. I have in the past especially loved novels, including lots of classic literature like Jane Austin, Bronte sisters, George Eliot, and also had a big run on Charles Dickens novels. All of these came to me via Project Gutenberg, free ebooks.

Today I am especially feeling grateful for the humpback whales I saw from the beach last week. They were turning upside down in the water and flapping their tail fins around in the air. A rare sighting, always feels special. Very glad I went to the beach those days. 🙂
