@PeppiPatty Thats dreadful. He is pretty needy.
Amazing you kept some humour about it.
SO obviously wrong.
Can you find an advocate? I spoke to one recently about another matter and found them really good. Instantly on side and getting the picture without long explanations.
Take Care

Good morning, @CheerBear. Awake early here, as is my pattern lately. I imagine you might be awake too, as your pattern and mine seem to be meeting at this time lately.
How are you this morning?
I've had a few hours sleep in one longer-than-average chunk. Sky still dark. For some reason the stars seem brighter at this time, in my narrow strip of courtyard sky. Possibly the way the constellations are currently doing their slow moving rotation. Either way they look lovely, and so does the waning moon.

Good to hear you have been getting more sleep the past couple of days, @CheerBear, even if it has been related to having rough days. I have often wondered how you can function at all with the little sleep you seem to get in an ongoing way. I'm glad to have slept through a whole three hours without interruption overnight. Feels better than waking every two hours as is more often the case.
How awesome that the bird landed on your leg! What a special moment!
The sky was starting to go a lighter blue as I wrote that last post, but I had my head in the computer screen at the time and only noticed it when I stepped outside again once I'd posted. I often have the courtyard door open, right next to my computer, for the cool air of this time of day. It was hot yesterday, very windy, humid with a dusty wind, I think from dust storms further west. For now the air feels fresher and a lovely temperature. A few birds waking here now too.
Hugs for yesterday and the lingering blues. My listening ear is here if you want to say more. Either way, glad you are feeling to some degree better after some sleep. I love how sleep can help reset our moods.
I am feeling good this morning, aside from the usual tiredness after sleep, and not that much of it. Yesterday ended up being mostly a rest day indoors, as a storm started up near to the time I was to go to the physio. I cancelled because I didn't want to be out of it, and was probably looking for any excuse for a rest day instead of spending a couple of hours on buses to and from the hospital. I slept a lot and later finished all three videos of the performers at the event on Sunday. Happy with how they've turned out. Aside from that, spent some more time on the phone moving forward the slow process of trying to get my mum some social support from local council, which involves a few hoops to be jumped through. Also talked to mum herself. Other stuff too, but mostly on the computer.

Sounds like a really hard day, @CheerBear. When I had my first procedure like this done back in the early 1980s, I was backpacking around the country with my boyfriend. I had to go to a random doctor too for the referral. The first one I went to was religious and didn't believe in referring for this. That was pretty awful to encounter first up. The second doctor was rough in his examination, and again not at all sympathetic, but I did get the referral. These were very harsh experiences for a young woman to be having, but the nurses at the clinic where the procedure was done were so good, kind and compassionate, for which I was so grateful. Hearing your experience yesterday, coupled with my own, reminds of how far we still have to go to be dealing with this issue in the community in a helpful way.
As you know, I'm a big raver, so no problems at all with your longer raves to me.
Big hugs for all of what you are going through.
