Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

That’s including 4 new tires that are worn through to the canvas @Mazarita 🤭. I can’t do that much but he said he can probably make it roadworthy enough for the next 6 months for $2000. Then I’ll really need brakes and a few other things done.
And yep I’m overthinkong it all and putting pressure on. I think I’ll try to get the family area tidied and thoroughly cleaned again. It’s been a big dumping ground for lots of things.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Family area tidied and cleaned sounds like a great start, @Teej. Don't forget to come back and skite when it's done. Smiley Very Happy

Thinking about car issues can wait for now. They'll still be there after the living room looks good again. Smiley Wink

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Teej  I'm heading off now too.  I hope your car passes roadworthy so you can be mobile again.  And that the rest of your day goes smoothly.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi @Teej@eth, @everyone here,

I haven't got much done today. Rule is not to beat ourselves up about it if we don't manage what we set ourselves. So going with that for today. I did bring in the washing that was on the line and fold it up. Haven't been out of the flat again today because too hot and humid again for me. I will go out in heat and humidity for appointments these days but find it very hard to motivate myself in this weather to do things that seem optional.

How's it been for you?

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi @Mazarita. I’ve been my own worst enemy today. Just ended up in my head and stressing and crying lots. I have a centrelink appointment tomorrow that’s doing my head in amongst other things. And yes I did a pretty big job of beating myself up. I’m glad you’ve come to an acceptance level with your stuff. Yesterday was a huge day for you so I’d say it’s an evening out for you.
I’m trying very hard not to self destruct which I guess is now my job for the rest of the evening. Hoping to report in later with some better news of achievement.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Ah well, @Teej, that happens. Yep, be kind to you for the rest of the evening if you can. Pretty sure this thread is for reports of achievement and non-achievement both. Hmmm, better ask the person who started it. Smiley Wink

Virtual hugs to your door to take or leave as you wish. Heart

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Thanks @Mazarita 😘. I think the person who started the thread had that in mind for everyone else but her but she’s working on it 💜🤗

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Sorry to hear you're struggling @TeejMy suggestion is just one hour at a time, or even 1/4 hour.  Centrelink ap't getting to you is totally understandable.  Is there anything you can do to prepare for it e.g. make a list of what needs to be discussed?

I caught up with my filing and put some washing away - wow big day NOT.  But by this time of day I just put the telly on and think of what to have for dinner.  Distract myself from criticising and try to plan for the next day.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Thanks @eth. I have my cc coming with me but it’s a big one.....a job capacity assessment. I’m going to try to breathe again now and hope I can pull it together. Thanks to you and @Mazarita for your kind thoughts. Hugs to you both from a very reactive and emotional being just now but I’ll get through it, was just hoping to with a bit more grace but I guess that’s not a happening thing just now 😜💜🤗

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

@Teej  Is your 'cc' a care co-ordinator or something else?  I'd be really stressed about it too.  What outcome do you want?  i.e. to be assessed as ready for work or to be given a reprieve from having to work for a while?  Is there any way I can support you?
