Re: A long rave

Hello Everyone 🙂

So sorry to hear your good friend is in hospital @CheerBear Heart, but glad to hear another good friend is staying with you & you can help each other help your unwell friend. Extra love & hugs to you HeartHeartHeart

Good Morning my Magical Mazy @Mazarita Heart I hope the rubber duckie is shiny, sparkling? But it's not the end of the World if it isn't 😉 I got me a brand new hot water system about a month ago, it's a portable one, designed to work on a 12v pump & a garden hose, so I was able to hook it straight up to my existing system - & it works 😄 But the fact of the matter is, I've only used it twice. You know you better than anyone, when your ready you'll polish that duckies beak, it'll go out the door with a squeak, even is it's courage is a little meek, there's nothing about that duckie that's weak! 🙂

Love you HeartHeartHeart

The delivery man came a bit later then midday as they said on the phone, it was about 3.30pm. I spent the day walking up & down the driveway. Everytime I heard a vehicle out on the highway I'd go & check the peice of paper I'd stuck on the post out there with my lot number on it & make sure it was still up 🙂 My staffy was attached to a lead that was attached to me all day, & my little fella was confined to my bedroom. But it came & there were no troubles backing it into my houseyard & I even had a conversation with the driver as he was unloading it!! 😮 Put the fence back up, noticed the rolls were only 94kg not 150, but still would have been too much for me. I used to get those 90kg tall gas bottles, & years ago when the rules weren't so rigid, I'd pick it up & put it in the front passengers side seat of my mini, put the seatbelt on it & take it home, were I'd pull it out, manuver it into the gas connection area, hook it up & make a cuppa 😄 But I've been past all that for a long time now. I have Psoriatic spondyloarthritis (had to look it up on the net to make sure I got the spelling right 🙂 ) which basically means arthritus of the spine, but mines polymorphic which means it's in all my joints . . . & all over my skin - lots of fun.

Today, seeing as I've still got the battery in the farm car, my mission is to go & get a load of branches to break with the axe to burn in the firebox. Guru Google is telling me I've still got a cool week (at least . . can always hope for more 🙂 ) & the wood pile is getting low. I'd better take the puppies for a walk in the forest as they just got a short on lead walk down the road yesterday because my mind was in a muddle 😉 My plan is to do so on the way back from town, where I'll head into the library & get some more DVDs 'cause I'm down to just 2. While I'm in there I'll see if there's any fresh bones for the puppies & maybe something fresh for my dinner 🙂

Thinking of you all Heart

Re: A long rave

good morning @eth @CheerBear @greenpea @Mazarita @Appleblossom @outlander @Exoplanet @Shaz51

and all others visiting...

thank you  for well wishes...

today is looking far better than yesterday...the sun is out...only a breeze about...the leaves of the gum trees are swaying...the birds are tweeting...

one cat staring out of the office window....

other cat laying in front of computer monitor...

@greenpea no cows at the fence line this morning...

I took a video yesterday or should I say I attempted to in strong winds...can see cows and some young calves but too  far away...

so will attempt to do again later...

@CheerBear nice to hear from you...sorry to hear about your friend's health....having a new male friend helping with the support if a blessing for all ....

enjoy your time away with coffee in a group...

I have been trying to find something similar and it just is not happening...either too old or too far away...

@eth  I hope that this Phams worker is more reliable today...regardless of whether you have the NDIS plan or not ..if a contract has been made ...this should be respected...

Ensuring that you avoid anxiety is probably the wisest way to be at present....even talking this through with your psychologist will be a help...Tackling tomorrow when it comes....

All others hello..I too wish everyone a day where something allows you to smile...if you get to laugh...a bonus...

I will have a long black in a small cup ...less caffeine...thank you...cheers all...Cat Happy

Re: A long rave

Hi @Exoplanet love your poem about the rubber ducky!  And your story about putting the big gas bottle in the front seat of the mini.  My first car was a mini clubman and I loved it.  Drove it from central Queensland to Geelong one time, loaded up with a mate and everything we owned. It was a gem!  Glad to hear you got all your fencing materials delivered without a hitch.

Hi to you too @Sophia1  Glad to hear today is starting off well for you.  Beautiful description of the nature around you.  Just heard from the SW and she is coming - feeling relieved.

Re: A long rave

Re: A long rave

Well I'm awake again after a couple more hours sleep (to add to the already 11 hours last night). Skipping art today so as not to pressure myself. But there's still time to have a shower and get to the dentist appointment.

Thanks again, @CheerBear, for being around this morning (and in general!), and for sending good and welcome vibes my way. Sorry to hear sick person is so very sick. Wishing you and them the very best in this process of treatment. How wonderful that you are going out for coffee with a small group. Wishing you surprising calm and enjoyment in that place. Hugs back again.

@eth, awesome that you are tackling the solo Shebah ride to and from the psychologist appointment. I hope that your Phams worker has responded to you by this time. That particular support person seems to have been only minimal support to you. Hope the call from the ndis works out as you hope, with sil there to assist. Overall, I hope it's a good day for you, with a fruitful psychologist session.

@Exoplanet, I see you are about to rock another day. Very cool that everything got sorted yesterday, even if they were late. I really need to have this shower this morning, mainly because I'll be in the dentist chair early this arvo. It will help for tomorrow too, when I have to see a neurologist about my feet. They need to be clean enough to smell and look okay to touch. You poor darling with the psoriatic spondyloarthritis. I wonder if there's anywhere around that might be able to give you some treatment and relief from that (a rheumatologist?). Now that you've braved the GP and the patient listening lady, perhaps there are more steps towards better health you might take over time? Love how organised you are with your own entertainment by DVD. Back when we used to hire VHS tapes from video shops, I was always late taking them back, or paid and then was never organised enough to watch them at all during the hire period, lol. Love you too, dear heart.

@Sophia1, great description of your morning, trees swaying, sun out, birds tweeting and a couple of lovely cats. I wish you smiles and laughter if possible today too.

@everyone, a peaceful day to all.

Re: A long rave

@Sophia1 Thanks Sophia1 this is really, really nice of you to do this 🙂 xx

Re: A long rave

@eth Hi eth hope your day is being sorted out for you and your PHaMs worker got in touch with you  . I have buggered up my leg .... tis a stupid story so I won't go into it *sigh* but I am hobbling along like Long John Silver atm.

Re: A long rave

Dear @eth

Your home sounds lovely.......

how many years were you in public housing? It must be wonderful and ' about time,' that you have your own place.
