I hope you don't mind, I moved your question to a new discussion. It's a great question and thought it deserved a thread of it's own in case you have more questions or if others do.

@CherryBomb and I are the Community Managers of the Forums, along with dozens of moderators.

Our job is to ensure the forums are a safe and helpful place for members. We work on things such as:

- Origanising Topic Tuesdays and other forum events

- Responding to discussions

- General moderation

- Connect forum members with similar experiences together

- Removing posts that breach guidelines and working with members to get their post live

- Working with Community Guides (some of our super users) to ensure all discussions get a response

- A lot of behind the scene work (ie: evaluation, community engagement strategy, reports to funders)
