Hi,
I look after my son periodically who has stimulant use addictions which tip him into psychosis, he is then scheduled, gets clean, is back at his home, then goes through the cycle again. It's been seventeen years. I'm worn out. Ready to let go of involvement.
Does anyone have resources that can change this situation?
We often hear about the high comorbidity of drug use and long term mental health conditions like schizophrenia, but is there a NSW public health team making lasting change with patients in this area?
I need to know who they are and get my son in touch with them.
I am interested in finding out if anyone else is going through this and what they tried, what worked and what hasn't.

I'm sorry to hear about this @Angeltree . That sounds so tough. No wonder you feel worn out an exhausted!
I'm sure others on the forums have been in a similar space. I look forward to hearing what they say.
From my own experiences, unless he is willing and ready to battle this, there is only so much that loved ones can do.
